The bold plans for the regeneration of Fleetwood Waterfront will be showcased this week by Wyre Council at a prestigious, three-day event in Leeds.

Wyre will join Blackpool Council at UKREiiF 2025 to promote the Fylde Coast as a region of opportunity, showcasing a bold vision for regeneration, innovation and clean energy.

The Fleetwood Prom project was originally announced at the end of 2024 and includes:

  • The redevelopment of the iconic Marine Hall, enhancing its role as a cultural and community anchor.

  • The refurbishment of Fleetwood Leisure Centre, promoting health and wellbeing.

  • Public realm improvements to create a more attractive and accessible seafront.

  • The development of new beach huts, adding vibrancy and boosting tourism appeal.
