Wyre Council and their partners are pleased to share an exciting opportunity for businesses across the Wyre district to engage directly with the next generation of local talent.
"On 24th February, we are working in partnership with Lancashire Constabulary, Fleetwood Town Community Trust and Inspira to welcome Year 9 secondary school students from 9am to 3pm, before opening the doors to the general public until 5pm"
This event is designed to:
Showcase the breadth of careers and opportunities available within Wyre and the surrounding area.
Help young people explore pathways into employment, including apprenticeships, further education, supported internships, and T-Levels.
Inspire students to consider careers they may not have previously explored and provide meaningful encounters with employers.
Highlight the workplace expectations and employability skills needed, aligned with the Work Ready Lancashire framework.
There is no cost for businesses to take part.
Exhibitors are asked to commit to attend the full duration of the event (9am - 5pm).
This is a brilliant chance to promote your organisation, inspire future employees, and play an active role in developing the local workforce of tomorrow.
